Veien Cultural Heritage Park lies at the centre of Ringerike just north of the town of Hønefoss. The burial ground is one of eastern Norway’s largest from the Early Iron Age with more than a hundred burial mounds preserved. The new archaeological and cultural heritage museum offers a new and exciting experience. In the museum you can view our permanent exhibit entitled Helena’s three lives with among other things grave goods found at Veien dated to the Early Iron Age.
