If you appreciate rich surroundings combined with modern comforts, then Lia Fjellhotell is the right place for you. We can be found 850 metres above sea level, 14 km from Geilo. Lia Fjellhotell is situated on a sunny, southfacing slope with panoramic views over the mountanous wilderness of Hardangervidda. We can accommodate about 90 guests in our 20 family rooms, 12 double rooms, 5 single rooms and 8 mountain suites – all fully equipped with showers, toilets and telephones. Most of the rooms have TV.

Summer
Once King Winter has loosened his rip, summer soon arrives at Lia Fjellhotell. For fishing enthusiasts we can recommend tranquil evenings by the small lakes of Holmevannet or Liastølstjern where mountain trout rise in the moonlight. Canoe or rowboat outings on Holmevannet, horseback excursions or splendid horse and cart rides.
Winter
Outdoors experience awaits you along miles of prepared ski trails or you can venture off the beaten track and find your own. There is also a 3 km lit ski trail right outside. Our family friendly ski centre offers downhill skiing. The 750 m long ski lift leads to three runs totalling 2,8 km that descend over 160 m. If you need to rent skiing equipment, we can supply cross country skis, downhill skis, snowshoes and sledges.
