Fausko is a different kind of meeting place, with an atmosphere reflecting generations of tradition in a modern age. Fausko started operations as a hotel and general store during the 1870s, serving for some years as a coaching inn for postal services and travellers between eastern and western Norway.
Comprehensiveness and authenticity characterize everything that takes place here. Fausko arranges food and culture evenings, independent of accommodation, as well as mountain walks, fishing, concerts and festivals.

44 beds, 18 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, four kitchens. Dining in five atmospheric restaurants: Gildehallen (banqueting hall), Stabburet (storehouse), Årestugu (open hearth), Lavo (Sami tent) and Stølen (mountain farm). Outdoor facilities including grill, fireplace and hot tub. State of the art conference facilities. Additional accommodation can be booked in cabins on the neighbouring farm.
