Fondsbu is a warm, cosy and friendly lodge located at the beautiful lake of Bygdin, the largest lake of the Jotunheimen National Park. Here you are surrounded by peaks and valleys, rivers and streams and the mysterious magic of the fantastic scenery, as well as the pure and crystal clear air. Why not drink the fresh water directly from the streams and just enjoy the sound of silence and the sense of being alone for one hole day just half an hour walk from our lodge.

We have two seasons a year; the summer season goes from the last weekend of June until first weekend of October, and winter season from mid February until the first weekend of May.

In the summer we are accessible with car, bus or boat. In the winter the access is either with snow mobile or cross country skiing. Allow yourself to indulge the pleasure of staying at Fondsbu. We will make sure you’ll feel recharged after a stay with us. Welcome!

Activities
Fondsbu is an ideal location for your active outdoor holiday in Norway both in summer and winter. We can offer guided tours to peaks in the area summer and winter, telemark courses, fishing, ice fishing, hiking or trekking in the Jotunheimen National Park, cross country or back country skiing in the Jotunheimen National Park, avalanche risk courses, winter courses, Qi-gong courses, annual rock festival, annual jazz festival and other music events, as well as a variety of activities.
