As well as expanding Telemark's best family resort, we are working on plans for short-term rental opportunities for cabins or apartments, including arrangements for maintenance and cleaning. Hallbjønnsekken is fantastically situated in the mountains between Dalen in West Telemark and Valle in Setesdal, and is widely known for its beautiful scenery and majestic highlands. The locality boasts Alpine slopes, hiking trails and a service centre with restaurant, pub and cosy common room. The area offers excellent hiking opportunities throughout the year.

The centre is located approximately 805 metres above sea-level, 23 kilometres from Dalen town centre and 35 km from Valle. The centre's high standards, distinctive Norwegian atmosphere and scenic surroundings, rich in attractions, will inspire any holiday visitor seeking comfort, activity and/or adventure.

The ski centre comprises two ski lifts and four downhill runs of roughly 700 to 1400 meters. You can practise Alpine and Telemark skiing and snowboarding. From living accommodations to the ski centre is about 300-500 metres: you can put on your skis outside your door and ski to the lifts, returning just as effortlessly when it's time for home.
