ibsenmuseetThe playwright Henrik Ibsen’s home, where he lived the last 11 years of his life, from 1895 until his death in 1906. Here Ibsen wrote his two last dramas, John Gabriel Borkman and When We Dead Awaken. In his restored apartment we introduce you to the private sphere, and the life and work of Henrik Ibsen.

The exhibits in two floors display several of his personal belongings, and also sheds light on Ibsen’s political views, the relevance to international issues, and the dynamic power of Ibsen’s dramas.
