Oslo City Museum is located in the heart of the Frogner Park (the Vigeland Park). The museum shows exhibitions on the history of Oslo, the theatre history and changing theme exhibitions. The film “Oslo in 1000 years” (15 min) presents a brief introduction to the city history.

Oslo City Museum is located in the beautiful old buildings of Frogner Manor. There are daily guided tours in the old manor house in July and August. English speaking guides.

The Museum Café serves hot and cold meals. In the summer visitors may enjoy food and drinks among the roses in the idyllic yard. There is also a museum gift shop.

Oslo City Museum is a part of Oslo Museum.

Intercultural Museum is also a part of Oslo Museum. It is situated at Grønland (City centre). This museum shows exhibitions on the history of immigration and cultural changes in Norwegian society. The museum also runs an art gallery.
