Restauranthuset Operaen offers the perfect gathering place and venue for several types of events. Whether it's an anniversary, a banquet or a release. We cooperate closely with the Norwegian Opera & Ballet, when it comes to the use of the house's many venues, stages and areas.

About The Operahouse
The year 2008 marked the great opera and ballet art in Norway. The nation's new opera house was opened. An important goal for the opening was to clarify the community's arts and cultural policy ambitions for the new opera house. The opera is now one of the country's most important cultural meeting place for broad audiences.

Argent
Argent is about the art of cooking and quality, about letting fresh ingredients and flavours mingle and unfold perfectly in a relaxed but elegant setting. Argent is the Operas' Fine Dining.

The candles on the table together with the open fireplace in the entrance create a warm and cosy feel. The interior of Argent expresses understated elegance and refinement. The main color is an inviting white, with delicate nuances and subtle details between the pure color surfaces. The restaurant is also a treat for the eyes.

Sanguine Brasserie
In winter, it is sheltered behind the house's huge glass facade and the magnificent view of Oslo Fjord. When the weather allows it extends Sanguine Brasserie towards the water's edge. The site is characterized by a vibrant daily life and a vibrant anticipation of tonight's performance. Many people also choose to find a place here after the show to extend a successful evening.

Sanguine Brasserie is an informal and welcoming brasserie. The name derives from the Norwegian adjective sangvinsk, signifying a carefree and festive happy personality.
