Recently restored workers’ quarters in an historic, picturesque farmyard within walking distance of Fåvang town centre. Two apartments, five and eight beds (2 + 3 and 3 + 3 + 2). Each apartment has its own bathroom/WC, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge w/freezer, cooker. In addition you will find a wood-burning stove,satellite TV and a large, sunny terrace. Bed linen is available for hire.

Fishing
As our guest you have free use of fishing rights along our private riverbanks (extending approx. 1 mile – 1,500m), which include a number of exceptionally good beats both along the Gudbrandsdalslågen river and its tributary the Tromsa, which is just 110 yards from the farmyard.

Activities
A holiday at Fåvang is full of activity possibilities, both in summer and winter. Summer activities range from walking and fishing, to canoeing, cycling, elk ‘safaris’, horse riding and dairy farm visits where one can purchase traditional products. For those who enjoy skiing, our area is a paradise in wintertime, with many well-maintained cross-country tracks.

Tromsnes is an historic free holding that has been in family ownership since at least the 17th century, probably longer. The farmyard consists of around 25 buildings, many of them several hundred years old.
