Trudvang Gjestegaard is a historical and homely place to stay. The hotel is centrally located in Larvik, close to the exit to the European Route E18. Trudvang was built in 1918, and has among other, been an orphanage for nervous kids, a reconvalescene home for tired house wives and an art gallery. Today Trudvang is a soulful hotel where personal service is the first priority.

Rooms
Trudvang har 30 rooms, in the old part of the hotel no rooms are alike, and each room has their own charm and uniqueness, some rooms have bathtub and balcony. This part of the hotel houses our bridal suite with a wonderful view over Larviksfjorden. In the new part of the hotel, all rooms are modern and elegant. Trudvang offers both family rooms, rooms with twin and single beds, and economy rooms. And also have two rooms suitable for wheelchair. All rooms are non-smoking and allergy friendly. We offer room service.

Restaurant
Our restaurant specializes in Norwegian cuisine based on local produce. Everything is homemade, and served with love. We change our menu according to season. See our website for menus and opening hours.

Conference and function rooms

Activities
Trudvang has a heated outdoor pool, sauna, and a beautiful rose garden. Spectacular walking trails are located right outside the hotel, for example Bøkeskogen, which is the largest beech forest in Norway, there are also several beaches in the area, and Trudvang is located right next to centrum, and also Larvik’s culture house, Bølgen. Trudvang Gjestegaard and its staff aim to ensure that all its guests have a pleasant and memorable stay.
