Trysil, nature's own amusement park
Trysil has been designed for skiing and you will find challenging trails at all levels. Trysil's location is ideal for snowy winters and stable winter weather. Trysil is Norway's largest ski resort with 27 lifts and 65 km runs. Trysilfjellet links together three sides of a mountain to provide a rich and varied ski area. Trysil also has Northern Europe's largest ski school.

For those who would swear by cross country skiing, Trysilfjellet has nearly 100 km of groomed trails to offer, both in the forest, over marshes and on the mountain. Our characteristic hotel is located in the center of Trysil. The hotel has 31 rooms and has several daily bus routes to the mountain. We are known for our excellent cuisine that can be enjoyed in "Gamlestua", our restaurant with origins dating from 1660. Our chef conjures up many delicious dishes for discerning palates. You will find both traditional well-prepared specialties such as fish and meat dishes with seasonal ingredients, and dishes with a more international touch. Overall, the restaurant has room for 150 -170 people.

Use us for a conference with a difference, take part in Norwegian culture when you educate. Only nature puts restrictions on your imagination when it comes to activities during your stay. Get away from the noise and smell of the city, and experience what real air smells like, in one of Norway`s gems.

There are activities to suit the whole family or groups. Whether you want to be active or peaceful, want to experience an adrenalin rush or a soothing massage, you have plenty to choose from.

Trysil is an obvious winter-destination, with the activities that follow. Norway`s largest ski-resort invites you to downhill, snowboard and cross-country. But have you tried dog-sledding, snowmobile or to find the child in you with some competitions in the snow? When the snow passes, the river invites you to go rafting, canoeing and fishing to mention just some of the activities available. Hiking in the beautiful nature, or use a bike to feel the wind on your face. If you prefer the calm of fairways and greens, Trysil can offer a course worthy of acclaim!
