| The hotel has a swimming pool, sauna, solarium, exercise facilities, ping-pong table, games room and sitting room with open fire. Comfy dining room with hearty, reasonably priced food plus fully licensed dance bar. From June through September we have live music daily except Sundays. High standards at nice prices. Three family apartments available. In recent times the hotel has been continuously upgraded.
The cabin park is Vrådal's largest with 36 units. Attractive cabins of a high standard with all modern facilities. All cabins have their own terrace with a view over lake Nisser. The cabins are suitable for 6 to 8 persons and are situated near the village centre behind the hotel. Guests in the cabin park are free to use all the facilities of Vrådal hotel. All rooms with shower and toilet, telephone, radio and (from January 2006) television. Room sizes vary. Four rooms are suitable for wheelchair users. The hotel offers its own swimming hall with a children's pool. Play room and mini-cinema for children, plus a playground outside the hotel. In the immediate vicinity is our own Summerland, with a large playground, climbing frames, rowboat, canoe and water-bike rental, beach volleyball and basketball, obstacle course and more. Own stables and riding centre with seven horses. Good fishing in the surrounding lake. Just over 4 km from the hotel is Vrådal Panorama Ski Centre, Telemark's largest. Good alpine conditions for both beginners and more advanced. Location: The hotel occupies a tranquil natural setting at the northern tip of lake Nisser, 267 m over sea-level. |
