Rica Hotel Karasjok is situated at the heart of Finnmark in Norway. Kárásjohka is the Sami capital in Sapmi. The hotel handles different guest segments such as groups, conference, business and holiday guest.

The hotel has 56 double rooms including two suites. A large sauna, said by many to be the nicest sauna in Norway, is free of use to guests on the third floor. The sauna has an accompanying Polarloft where you can sit and relax by an open fire. Also, from here the northern lights might be seen in the winter time.

The conference facilities contain one large room which takes up to 80 guests in classroom seating. In the cosy hotel restaurant, with strong elements of Sami colours, we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Storgammen Restaurant is situated right outside the hotel and can seat 120 people. The Storgammen is a unique building, built in true Sami tradition. Here the guests sit on reindeer skin around open fires while they get a taste of traditional Sami food.

Right next to the hotel, Sapmi Park is situated, where there is an exhibition and magical theatre showing a movie about Sami life. The hotel operates a large souvenir shop within the park. Inside this souvenir shop there is also a silver smith, where they make silver jewellery with traditional Sami motifs and other precious items.
