Femundsmarka National Park Visitor Centre, at Elgå, is located at the southern entrance to Femundsmarka National Park. The centre opened in the summer of 2005 in a wonderful new building, which contains exhibitions and information about Femundsmarka and Gutulia national parks.

The centre is suitable for all those who want to find out about the national parks before going walking, or for those who simply wish to learn about the fantastic flora and fauna in the area.

Femundsmarka offers excellent hiking opportunities for both people and animals. The elkhound Castro enjoys the tourist association's path from Røvollen to Haugen.	The childrens corner at the National Centre's department of Elgå.	Weather has a great impact on the trees in Femundsmarka. One of them is placed in the center at Elgå.
