Rendalen Øiseth Hotel is a traditional family hotel right in the heart of Østerdalen in the little village of Åkrestrømmen.

Here the legendary fishing rivers Rena and Mistra meet in the outlet (also known as "Åkrestrømmen") which flows into the northern end of Storsjøen in Rendalen municipality.

Only a stone's throw from the hotel the lucky fisherman can encounter strapping trout there for the taking by rod and line, or glistening silver whitefish in shoals, for capturing in a scoop net.
