Enjoy the tranquility of a river or mountain lake in one of our rental canoes, where you may come across reindeer, elk, beaver and other wild animals as you glide slowly down the river.

Go hiking along marked trails in forests or in the mountains, in terrain suitable for the whole family. Here you can find both foxes’ earths and old hunters’ pits.

There is a riding stables, Rendalen Fjellridning, close by - so why not take the whole family horse riding through a breathtakingly beautiful mountain landscape?

Covering 3,200 km2, Rendalen is the largest municipality in Southern Norway. Large parts of it consist of wilderness, with a rich animal life. In the heart of the wilderness, far from people, predators like wolves, brown bears, wolverines and lynx still roam about. The most famous attractions in Rendalen are Jutulhogget canyon, Fiskevollen and the Bull museum - not to be missed!

Hunting and shooting opportunities for reindeer, deer, hare, grouse and beaver. Fishing in the Unsetåa and Rena rivers, as well as in Mistra lake and other tarns.
