Folgefonna National Park Visitor Centre provides information on the natural and cultural attractions on the Folgefonna peninsula. Folgefonna National Park was opened in 2005 by Her Majesty Queen Sonja.

The exhibition includes films, the slideshow "Drama in Rock", texts, maps and photos of Norway's 25th National Park. The exhibits also provide an insight into the geology and natural history of Folgefonna, the country's southernmost glacier. We hope you will be inspired by the walks and recreational activities you can enjoy in this unique landscape of spectacular fjords ringed by snow and ice!

Of the numerous attractions on the peninsula associated with Folgefonna National Park, the Stone Park in Rosendal is particularly worth a visit.
