Tyssedal Hotel is a magnificent building from 1913 built in "Art Nuveau" style. It is located in a stunning and dramatic landscape, with two national parks as its closest neighbors.

The hotel is open all year and has 26 rooms of good standard with a total of 52 beds. Sauna, suite with Jacuzzi, free parking and first class A la Carte restaurant. All rooms are equipped with excellent bathrooms, comfortable beds, flat screens with cable TV and wireless internet. At the hotel there are several comfortable banquet and conference rooms of different sizes.

Our famous art collection consists of paintings by Nils Bergslien but also "Garnbinderen" by Christian Krogh, and pictures of Morten Muller, Hans Dahl, Anders Askvold and more.

Within easy reach are Skjeggedal with its dramatic scenery and Ringedalsdam from 1918. Nearby is also the Hardangerfjord, the Hardangervidda National Park with Trolltunga, the Folgefonna National Park with The Buer glacier and several magnificent waterfalls, with Låtefoss as the most famous one.
