Britannia Hotel – built in 1897, has a long tradition as a hotel and restaurant. Britannia Hotel has 247 rooms, including 11 suites. The hotel also has deluxe rooms, artist rooms for female guests and business rooms, and a wide range of categories of rooms. Every room is special and well appointed with a through combination of timeless elegance and modern comfort.

In 2009 the hotel opened its Spa & Wellness Centre. Within 850 square metres, the hotel offers, amongst other things, a delicate treatment room with a shower and Jacuzzi, a sauna and relaxation area with exciting and varied experience rooms, a wellness pool and a mineral pool with minerals from the Dead Sea. Above the mineral pool is a constellation of stars as seen in the Nordic sky. A fully equipped modern fitness room with gym equipment is available in the spa and wellness area. All guests have free access to the Britannia Spa & Wellness Centre.

Britannia Hotel has some of Norway’s most exciting restaurants. There are four restaurants to choose between in addition to the piano bar and cocktail bar. This means that the hotel can provide the setting, food and drink for any occasion.
