Overhalla Hotel is situated in the centre of Overhalla, 20 km from Namsos, in the heart of Namdalen. The hotel is shielded from traffic and is situated in its own garden just 100 metres from the Coastal Route, Kystriksveien (FV 17), with good parking facilities.

The hotel consists of 25 rooms, all of which can be used as double or three-bed rooms. Three are family rooms, sleeping two adults and two children. The rooms have shower, w.c., television and free internet access. A cabin on the site comprises two double bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchenette.

Restaurant
Our kitchen serves a varied menu including cloudberries (arctic berries) and other local produce such as salmon, elk, ptarmigan, etc.

The Namsen, one of Norway`s best salmon rivers, flows through Overhalla. We offer salmon fishing from the shore (bank fishing) or from a boat (harling). The hotel`s guests fish around 500-700 salmon per year. Your stay is tailored to your wishes and needs and can consist of a complete package including fishing equipment, guide/rower, local transportation, etc. Fishing season: 1 June-31 August.

In the district
There are scenic areas with walking and biking paths. It is easy to spot elk in the wild, thanks to our elk map. Golf course. Day trips to the zoo with Nordic animals (reindeer, bear, lynx, wolf, capercailzies, etc.), Salmon Aquarium, coastal and mountain scenery is all within easy distance.
