Patrusli Gaard (Patrusli Farm) is idyllically situated in Stugudal at the foot of the Sylan mountain range, surrounded by birch-clad hills, sparkling waters and beautiful mountainous terrain.

Summertime in our part of the world brings with it a range of options amid unforgettable scenery, whether you are keen on fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, bird watching, kayaking/canoeing, windsurfing... or if you simply want to unwind in peace and quiet close to nature. History and culture enthusiasts will find a numerous attractions, including museums and a living agricultural exhibition, within a reasonable distance of the farm.

For those who dream of making their way across the sparkling snow in the wide-open spaces, we offer organized tours (for groups) on skis or snowshoes, preferably with a break around the fire in one of our lavvos (Sami tents). Or you can let yourself be pulled along in the snow by a wind -filled kite. Our trustworthy Icelandic horses are at your service, even in winter: why not try an evening ride on horseback illuminated only by a pale moon, or perhaps the flickering aurora? A number of mountain lakes offer exciting ice fishing, ideally in our heated fishing sheds where you can sit sheltered even if it is –30 degrees C outside. Igloo-building and toboggan racing are other activities we can offer on the farm.

Whatever the time of year we provide tour guides, organize courses, and rent out most necessary equipment for activities on the farm. Accommodation on the farm is in cabins, rooms and apartments decorated in rustic style; wilderness excursions are on offer nearby.

Tasty meals based on local ingredients and traditional cooking are available by arrangement in the dining room and hearth room (or during excursions).

We also offer a range of fitness facilities and services, including hot tubs and spas, and natural therapy with aromatherapy and other forms of massage.
