Skifer Hotel has a number of aims that we wish to achieve, where you as a guest willbenefit from. We have put a lot of effort in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere,something our guest will feel the moment they enter the hotel. We have two important criteria, our choice of hotel design and your first meeting with our friendly staff.

Skifer Hotel has inviting rooms in warm natural colours and comfortable beds, where quality and design has been a key element. With stunning views towards the mountains around Oppdal, this alone should give you energy for a new day. We can offer four different room categories, single room, double room, family room and a suite, which include 24 rooms suitable for disabled persons.
Food
Skifer Hotel offers an a la carte restaurant where good food and wine are our main focus. Chambre Arthur B is a great location well suited for private parties, may it be confirmations, weddings, birthdays or any other special occasion. In our intimate andcozy lobby bar we serve a lighter menu, have an excellent drinks list including champagne, cocktails, liqueurs and quality cognacs.
Conference
Our conference and banquet department can offer 6 different meeting rooms with capacity from 2 to 300 persons and we can tailor-make it for your meeting or event. Our largest room is 300 sqm.
Location
Between DovreFjell and Trollheimen you will find Oppdal, a small village that can offeryou a number of outdoor activities for both groups and individuals. With majestic mountains and over 40 different hiking routes in the neighborhood, there are plenty of possibilities for groups as well as family trips.
The hotel is situated in the centre of Oppdal, with convenient parking facilities for bothcar and bus. The train station is only 200 meters from Skifer Hotel.
