The candlemaking workshop ranges over 3 floors and in one of the most unusual shops in the district. Here you can see how candles are made, tinted and creatively decorated. Department for antiques is on the lower ground floor.
At Skaret you can visit horses, goats, wild sheep and rabbits throughout the summer. Ponyriding every day in July and every Sunday 14.00-16.00 the rest of the year. You can book a horse-drawn carriage/sleigh ride all year. There is also a children’s playground, and a small pool which is open in July. Skaret is an excellent starting point for experiencing the countryside, including nature trails, walking trails, running trails and many fishing lakes. If you prefer longer walks, we recommend nearby mountains like Urdfjellet (979 m.a.s) and Bjørnen (933 m.a.a). |
