Presents the development of norway's coastal communities over 10.000 years. The icelandic architect Gudmundur Jonsson has designed one of the most spectacular landmarks on the Norwegian coast.

Berggården:
Old trading house build in the 1870's. Get to know the activity in Berggården in the 1900-century through the eyes of one of the maids.

Sør-Gjæslingan:
Fishingvillage in a group of small islands facing the stretch of the sea called folla. Visitors to Sør-Gjæslingan are welcome to rent an autentic fishermans shack. Contact the museum and we will guarantee a holiday completely out of the ordinary!
