The camping site is right by the sea –a fantastic natural setting. Take a swim in our outdoor saltwater pool – or teach the kids to row a boat in safe surroundings. Fish from shore in the second strongest sea current in Norway, Nesstraumen. There is freshwater fishing – trout/sea trout – as well. (We sell fishing cards.) Great walking country, plenty of footpaths and lush vegetation, by the sea or in the hills, with views of the mountains in Lofoten. Don't miss the Viking burial mounds, and keep an eye out for sea eagles: the area supports a large population. |
