Skjærbrygga is situated at Hjellskjæret in Outer Stamsund. The oldest part was built in 1845, after which the building has been developed several times.

Our rorbuer keeps a simple, but good standard and is a nice resort for tourists as well as conferees. Each rorbu has 3-4 bedrooms, a living room with kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. The kitchenette has a fridge, hot plates, an electric kettle, a coffee maker and cooking utensils necessary for self catering. The rorbuer also have electric heating, vacuum cleaners and tv. Made beds, towels and cleaning by departure are included in the price.

The surroundings are great and give abundant opportunites for outdoor activities. There are marked tracks with various degree of difficulty in the mountains. The area is in general easy cycling country.

With 1,000 inhabitants, Stamsund is one of the main fishing villages in Lofoten. The village is in the Vestvågøy municipality, approx. 15 km from Leknes. The communications in the area are good, with daily calls of the Hurtigruten Ships going north and south. Leknes airport offers good connections north- and southwards via Bodø.
