First class fishing The resort is mainly based on fishing in the fjord. However, with hundreds of lakes in the area fresh water fishing is well worth trying. Night fishing is highly recommended as we have 24 hour light from mid-May to the end of July. The main species are cod, coalfish and redfish. Other species like haddock, herring, wolffish, whiting, mackerel, halibut and more are also regularly caught here.

Excellent wilderness hiking With its many mountains Velfjord offers fantastic hiking adventures, both for smaller or greater challenges. Many of these mountains also have marked trails. We recommend a visit to Lomsdal-Visten National Park. Storbørja, (one of the side-fjords to Velfjorden) is Brønnøy Municipality’s official entrance to the National Park.

Accomodation We can accommodate up to 46 guests in 12 apartments . All apartments have comfortable beds, at least 90 cm wide, and no bunks. There are also a well spaced bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, satelite TV and internet in every apartment. Sheets and towels are included.

Boats for rent We have 16 boats at the facility. 6 of the boats, 40 hp with remote control, five of which are 18 feet and a 17 foot aluminum boat. The remaining ten are 16 feet at 20/25 hp. They are located at our private marina, which also includes a filleting area and freezing space.
