Welcome to Norsk Luftfartsmuseum!
The museum is located in Bodø in a building shaped like a giant propeller, and covers military and civil aviation history. Experience the exciting history of aviation. See famous and illustrious military aircraft such as the Spitfire, Starfighter and the U-2 spy plane at close range.
Play and learn in our “How do we fly?” section. Want a hairraising experience? Then take a spin in our new flight simulator – if you dare! Join one of our expert guides on a guided tour during the summer, with special tours for children – both educative and fun. Visit the control tower with its spectacular views over the city and airport, and follow the day’s flights and air traffic first hand!
