Welcome to Scandic Tromsø and the city known as “Paris of the North”.
The hotel is located on the lovely western side of the island of Tromsø, with a magnificent view looking over the fjord to the majestic mountains on Kvaløya. On this side of Tromsø you get the perfect view of the midnight sun during summer and the Northern Lights makes spectacular scenes on the sky in the winter months. Still there is not more than 3 minutes drive to the airport, 3 minutes to the University of Tromsø and 5 minutes to the city centre.

Scandic Tromsø is surrounded by large green areas and can offer 150 outdoor parking places – free of charge. We offer 147 comfortable double rooms, lobby bar / restaurant and free wireless Internet access throughout the hotel. In June 2009 we opened Scandic gym and the location on the third floor with panoramic windows makes you smile while training. Connected to the Gym you will find locker rooms and sauna.

Scandic Tromsø have 6 meeting rooms with capacity from 20 – 600 persons. In addition we have a number of break out rooms and large areas for coffee breaks. We are proud of our many years working for a better environment and Scandic Tromsø has been labelled with the Swan since 2004.
