Our region is a unique piece of Norway, exceptionally attractive within nature, culture and great hospitality. Hadeland Ringerike Reiseliv is a very popular tourist goal, with Hadeland Glassverk as the biggest attraction. The glass works is one of Norway’s most visited tourist destination.

Hadeland Ringerike Reiseliv has nature attractions both summer and winter. Some of Norway’s best paddling, fishing and skiing spots are indeed to be found in our district. Follow our historic roads, Kongeveien and Pilegrimsleden, with unique culture landcapes and visit our historical sites back to the time of the Vikings. Take a swim in Randsfjorden or Tyrifjorden, enjoy a spectacular view, go horseback riding or make a trip with a dogsledge in the wintertime.

Visit our museums, galleries, tourist farms and historical sites, many of which are nationally known icons in their own fields.

The region covers the Gran, Lunner, Jevnaker, Hole and Ringerike municipalities.

• Main attractions:
  Hadeland Glassverk, Kistefos-Museet with exhibitions of international standard, Ringerikes Museum, Hringariki - Veien Kultuminnepark, Søsterkirkene, Hadeland Folkemuseum and Hadeland Bergverksmuseum.
• Main activities:
  Fishing in the many lakes, cyckling on historical roads, visit our historical museums, galleries of modern art or take a cruise on Tyrifjorden. You can even enjoy crosscountry skiing in the wintertime.
• Visit the city of Hønefoss.
  It is a busy and charming town less than an hour’s drive from Oslo. The area is rich with history and has been a natural link on the route between east and west from early times. Hønefoss has a wide range of cultural activities, particulary in summertime with several musical shows.
