Situated along national highway 55, the national tourist route over Sognefjellet, we are open for the entire Easter and summer season.

This is the gateway to Jotunheimen, where you will find some of the highest peaks in northern Europe including the highest of all, Galdhøpiggen. Near the hotel you can make your way up Loftet (alt. 2170 metres) for a spectacular view over the Jotunheimen summits.

We are famed for our cuisine – delicious food, cosmopolitan wine list – and our urbane, modern style in a mountain setting.

After a long day in the great outdoors, perhaps we can tempt you with a sauna before you take your seat in our beautiful restaurant overlooking the lake where the mountain peaks are reflected in the evening sun.

The area is suitable for cycling and simple country walks for people of all ages; right by the hotel we can offer traditional Norwegian games such as horseshoes and stilt-walking, as well as trampoline, cricket and nature trails.
