The Sognefjorden region is rich in the mythical Norwegian heritage and culture. All Mountainfjord hotels allow guests to immerse themselves in that culture. At Tørvis Hotel you can ask for a private tour of the art collection, whilst Hotel Mundal hosts a programme of jazz and opera events.

ADVENTURE
For those with an adventurous spirit, Sognefjorden is the natural place to indulge in a range of outdoor activities. There’s fantastic fishing in crystal clear waters, hunting trips in the forests and spectacular trekking in the surrounding mountains. We even have vintage boats to transport guests along the fjord.

Sognefjorden is the perfect natural playground for extreme sports enthusiasts. With the breathtaking scenery as the perfect backdrop, adrenaline-junkies can experience a wide range of activities including powder and off-piste skiing, glacier walks and kayaking – all of which we’re happy to arrange on their behalf.
