Welcome to Dyna Fyr

An important landmark in the Oslofjord since 1874. A lighthouse and fog bell, and a house for the lighthouse keeper, were installed on the little islet of Dyna – right in the shipping lane into Oslo Harbour.

The city’s best located function venue is open from Easter until Christmas. We feel we can offer something truly different and exotic, whether in summer sun or winter snow. Naturally our menus reflect our nearness to the sea.

To hire Dyna Fyr you must be minimum 20 and maximum 40 persons.

The story behind our Menu-names
As well as looking after Dyna Fyr, the lighthouse keeper was also responsible for two other lighthouses - Kobbernaglen Lykt, between Dyna and Nakholmen, and Kavringen Fyr next to Hovedøya. We have therefore chosen to name our three set menus after these lighthouses.
