Dalane Folk Museum, Slettebø
The main branch of the museum comprises eight buildings which are historical monuments in themselves. The core of the complex is the grand main building in the late Empire style, constructed in the 1850s as a senior civil servant's country house. The garden pavilion, carriage house and farm manager's lodge date from the same period. Log cabin from the 17th century and schoolhouse ca. 1895, with extensive collection of educational materials and artefacts. Comprehensive crafts section with tools from a number of trades including cooperage, comb-making, wood turning, watch making and shoemaking, together with an extensive agricultural section of old, pre-mechanization farming implements: one of the country's best such collections. Extensive collection of 17th and 18th-century cast iron heating stoves and oven plates.

Egersund Fayancemuseum (Egersund Pottery Museum)
Specialist museum containing displays of traditional and modern stoneware produced by the Egersund pottery factory (1847-1979). The museum houses an abundant range of the factory's products throughout its 132 years, everything from monumental vases and artefacts of great artistic value to dolls' dinner services and utilitarian stoneware in innumerable models and patterns. Here you can rediscover three generations of stoneware as used by your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The museum sells decorative prints from the original printing plates and reproductions of the original artefacts.

Mysinghålå
Hideout for the resistance movement during the Second World War. The mountain den – fitted out with an oven, bunk beds, table and window – was never discovered by the Germans. Refugees also often took refuge here en route to freedom. From Mysinghålå espionage and sabotage missions were carried out against the occupiers. At most 14 saboteurs and refugees sheltered under the ledge at Mysing. From the E-39 follow the road towards Mysing and the signed path from the parking area. Ca. 40 minutes' leisurely walk. Open year-round.

Fishery and Seafaring Museum, Sogndalstrand
The Fishery Museum is housed in a wharfside shed dating from the 1830s at Sogndalstrand. The collection comprises equipment and tools associated with fishing and seafaring in the 19th and early 20th centuries, including items from the age of the great sailing ships.
