Rogaland » Gjesdal Gjestgiveri
Ole Nielsen, founder of Aalgaards uldvare-fabrikker (the Ålgård woollen mills), can take much of the credit for the growth of the business community in Gjesdal during the 19th century. His exploitation of the native resources of the municipality has inspired us to carry on the traditions and culture of Gjesdal and the surrounding area through an inn offering food and lodging. Our reception rooms are distinguished by their pleasant atmosphere and high standards of comfort. We have the capacity for up to 120 persons. Stay by the magnificent Figgjoelva river in idyllic surroundings. For full board, get in touch with us and we will put together a tailor-made visit for you. Much of our splendid food comes from Figgjoelva and nearby waters: salmon, eel, trout and whitefish. Lamb from the Gjesdal hills is much sought-after. Four course and conference rooms | |
