Rogaland » Køhler-Paviljongen
Johan Mandius Köhler (1821-1897) from Stavanger, a shipbuilder with his own trading-company, built the Köhler-Pavilion in 1860. The Köhler-Pavilion is now restored and once more ready to be used for parties, seminars and other events. The restoration has been carried out with authentic details, recreating the 19 th century athmosphere.
The main room can seat 36 guests, and the conference-room can take 30 persons. Good food is an important part of the experience. We use first-rate local ingredients in all our dishes, inspired by the 19th century, with generous portions and traditional, local recipies. At the farm we produce “Jæren Smak” pork, and Madame Köhlers Rhubarb Juice, both of which are on the menu. We are proud to serve food made by “Jærkokken” Heine Grov.
Historical presentation and local food, together with the unique building and the nature of Jæren, contribute to create a special experience for our guests.
