Rica Maritim Hotel is an excellent choice of conference, course and business hotel idyllically situated in Smedasundet Sound in Haugesund. With a large conference capacity, good exhibition facilities, an outdoor theatre, and organisation of social events, Rica Maritim Hotel can accommodate the requirements demanded by any type of arrangement.

At Rica Maritim we have a hotel room to suit every requirement. The rooms are decorated in a maritime style or feature a film or cultural theme and can meet all of your expectations whether you are travelling on business or taking a cosy weekend break. Many of our rooms are seaward facing with a balcony and command a fabulous view of the ocean. All rooms have room service. The hotel was last refurbished in 2008. We also offer free wireless broadband and free computer access in our lobby area. Our 18 meeting rooms hold a high technical standard with state of the art AV equipment and facilities should you require meetings.

Attractions and Activities
Experience our panorama film in “Lille Maritim” building adjacent to our hotel, the wonderful panorama film “The Open Landscape”. The multi screen film takes you on brilliant flying tour and introduction of our region. Running time approximately 23 minutes.

Visit also the Viking Settlement at Avaldsnes and see how the Vikings lived. Learn more about – Norway’s oldest throne from where King Harald Fairhair ruled and resided after he had unified Norway into one kingdom around 870 AD. There are also possibilities for Boat trips.
