Sogn og Fjordane » Flåm Guide Service

In our secure and comfortable safari boats we offer the best opportunity to experience the beautiful west Norwegian fjordlandscape and it’s rich wildlife at close range. We explore the World Heritage Area of the Sognefjord – the Aurlandsfjord and the Nærøyfjord – wich represents one of the most extreme and stunning fjordlandscapes in the world.

Wildlife; like seals, porpoises and eagles are frequently encountered. On our FjordSafaris we also stop to enjoy the view of the old mountainfarms, which cling to small shelves high up in the steep mountainsides, above the fjord.

Our guide interprets the fjordlandscape, local history and the wildlife, and share with the guests stories, tales and legends, from various places of interest, that are passed on this intriguing journey through the inner branches of the Sognefjord.

When we turn off the engine of the boat our guests can sit back and enjoy the silence of the fjord, surrounded by unique natural scenery and cultural heritage – old mountainfarms bearing witness to an era gone by tall, steep mountains, covered by lush, green forest and sparkling waterfalls cascading into the deep, dark fjord.
