Vauldalen Fjellhotell lies in the UNESCO World Heritage Circumference which surrounds the mining town of Røros. Vauldalen is an environmentally friendly (Miljøfyrtårn) mountain hotel. Here, we focus on hospitality rather than fancy facilities. Our guests are among the most satisfied as we always seek to create a friendly, social and peaceful atmosphere with activities based on the history, culture and nature of the region.

At Vauldalen you will not find a flat screen TV or wireless internet in your room - the evenings are spent socializing with your fellow travellers/colleagues. Vauldalen offers unpretentious and peaceful facilities with high-end experiences!!! We tailor make a programme of rewarding activities for your group. Our most popular activities are: Sightseeing in Røros, an evening in the log cabin Volldalskoja (see photos), a trip to Femunden, snowmobile safari on the Swedish trails, dog sledding, Sami experiences and the outdoors hot tub.
