An easily accessible rambling, horse riding, cycling and fishing Eldorado on Hardangervidda. You can reach it by car, or if you prefer take the Krossobanen cable-way to Gvepseborg and cycle from there, a suitable trip for children and adults. Kalhovd is a very good base for cycling tours in the mountains, and we also offer horseback riding. Kalhovd is an excellent starting point for longer journeys across the vidda, or a base for day-trips in beautiful mountain areas summer or winter. Tranquil surrounding and fine food are the perfect accompaniment to recreation and relaxation alike.
