Telemarksgalleriet hosts quality art exhibitions of mainly norwegian artists such as; Odd Nerdrum, Håkon Gullvåg, Christian Krohg og Nikolai Astrup. The gallery has a nice snackbar and a gallery shop. Telemarksgalleriet is situated in a beautiful old industrial complex, and the surroundings is full of industrial history. The whole area is preserved with old powerstations, industrial buildings, and historical buildings that housed the Tinfos director, clerks and worker. The longest lumberslide in norway runs through the area. There is also a swimminghall and a footballstadion near by.
