Troms » Gildetun

Gildetun is situated near European Highway E6 on Mt. Kvænangsfjellet, 412 metres above sea level in northern Troms. Here you will find mountains rising up out of the Arctic Ocean and view of Northern Europe's only glacier that calves into the sea.

The hotel has 29 rooms in the main building as well as 26 rooms in cabins. There are a total of 116 beds. Shower/WC in all rooms/cabins, and a sauna is available to our guests. Local artists have decorated the rooms in accordance with ethnic culture, and have in this way contributed to the hotel's distinctive character.

There are conference rooms with audio-visual equipment, the largest having a capacity of 80 people and the smallest seating up to 20 in assembly.

We have a cafeteria and fully-licensed restaurant. Our specialities are salmon and "finnebiff" (thinly-sliced fried reindeer). We can accommodate approximately 200 guests in five different rooms.
