Surrounded by fjords and beautiful mountains, Radisson Blu Hotel is situated by the dock in the city centre of Tromsø. June 1st 2007 Radisson Blu Hotel reopened after extensive renovation. The hotel offers first class accommodation and conference facilities. A new building has given the hotel a total of 269 rooms of high standard. All rooms are equipped with air-condition, LCD widescreen television, mini-bar, telephone and coffee/tea. Rooms appear in the styles arctic and chilli. Included in the room is super breakfast buffet, free access to wireless broadband, fitness area, relax area, and news channels in Norwegian, English, German, Spanish, French and Italian.

The hotel’s restaurant Aurora has a good reputation in Tromsø and has an interior design inspired by the northern lights and the arctic nature. As a member of Arctic Menu it emphasizes the use of local, high quality products. On the ground floor guests can enjoy the traditional pizzeria Yonas, which offer Tromsøs best pizza in a cosy environment. In the hotel pub – Rorbua – the local brewed Mack beer is served, accompanied by live music Wednesday through Sunday. Refreshments – or maybe a hot toddy on cold days - can also be enjoyed by the fireplace in the lobby bar.

Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromsø is the largest hotel north of Trondheim.
